Tony Smith sent me this link last night, and I had to pass it along. Just watch.
The Cans Festival

The first ever Cans Festival was held in London last weekend, marking the biggest collection of stencil art in one area. Or something like that. Banksy had some boss new pieces, which is always cool, but what really amazed me was the level of detail some of these are able to achieve. Keep in mind that this was stencils only. That was the cardinal rule. Romanywg has a really good Flickr set of the whole shebang, take a look.
Update: Here's some YouTubage of the event as well.
Street Art in Tokyo.
Check these pieces that I saw whilst on my jaunts around the city. Neck Face has a couple of tags around the city, but you can't miss this one. Nice London Police just to the left of it as well. The Invader one was right under the bridge we walked everyday to the subway, although I didn't notice it for three or four days. I also like the Mickey Avalon signature, right under the Neck Face piece.
