I once sent a letter to IN-N-OUT headquarters alluding to the fact that if there wasn't a Utah location within the year, the last sound I would hear would be the report from a snub-nosed .38. They replied with a polite but concerned letter, saying that they had no plans to open a Utah location, and that I should seek professional help. Well, it's a good thing I didn't carry out my threat, as there is now an INO in St. George, a mere four hours away from my front door. As I had my favorite fast food meal in my home state for the first time, I couldn't help but feel that I had a little part in making this dream a reality.
