Monday Morning Movie Reviews: Indiana Jones 4

I know this movies been getting a lot of heat for silly things, like being a flaccid, plot-hole-ridden, uninteresting relaunch to a franchise 15 years too late. But I disagree. This is merely the passing of the torch to a brand new generation of moviegoers. Let's face it, I was 8 when the LAST movie came out, and what's hot with the kids today (texting, Myspace, shows about California) makes my blood boil. So all you whiny fanboys out there that are bitching about Hollywood ruining yet another childhood memory, just realize that it's time to let go. Harrison, god love him, is old. He can't compete with the natural animal magnetism of today's younger stars. Take comfort in knowing that by sacrificing a movie franchise that you loved, generations to come will get to enjoy Shia Labouf battle hippies, Charles Manson, Manuel Noriega , and the Iraqi Republican Guard to keep archeological treasures safe. And once he gets a little long in the tooth, Maddox Jolie-Pitt will be waiting in the wings to take over from there.
