I decided yesterday that pneumonia would be an acceptable price to pay for not missing another day of riding, and was prepared to trade a week in the hospital for 3 days of powder. Fortunately, I woke up feeling pretty good. The weather was snow and fog, and the mountain had a definite "haunted house" feel to it. Visibility issues aside, the snow was great and the vibe in the cat was at a high because we were all together (i.e. it's not quite the same without me). We did some "sending it" off of the cat track after a run where CPB did an awesome "reverse air railie" about 10 feet past where everyone else was landing and Beez threw a Backflip Japan, his first. Oh, and Dave laid out a backie that would make any resort postcard proud.
